During February, students involved in SWOT VET eTwinning project had to finish the task of describing their cities. Since we can only work together remotely and don’t have a chance to visit and meet each other, we have to be creative. That is why this task was planned and carried out, but also to enhance students’ digital skills through using some new online tools for creation.
Each student group had to represent their own city which means we got to know four cities from Turkey, two from Romania and two from Croatia. For this purpose, students used one awesome digital creation tool called Thinglink. Thinglink is free online application for creating interactive images and posters. It is possible to add buttons all over basic image, the one that is basically first layer and background. These buttons open smaller windows in which one can put photos, images, videos, links or plain text. Final result in our case looked like a short virtual tour around the cities we wish to visit one day.
