We have an official project logo

During the third week of February, all of the students and teachers involved in eTwinning project SWOT VET had a chance to vote for the best proposition for official project logo. Each school participated with one suggested design created by their students. Among eight proposals in total, with the biggest number of votes, design from Private school Futura was chosen as an official project logo.

One of the first activities that are usually included in Erasmus+ and eTwinning projects are creation and contest for the official project logo. That way, students are encouraged to think creatively and to use digital tools for making of graphical materials. In the SWOT VET project, each school participant could gather few logo design proposals from their students and send to other partner schools ones who got the most votes to be included in final voting. This, first phase, lasted until the middle of February and then, during the third week, the best eight propositions were put to the vote for all of the participants of the project – for students, as well as for their teachers.

Altogether, where were 42 votes. One of the Romanian logo designs got the third place. It is simple, gray logo which contains everything one project logo should have and it was interesting because of its practicality. The second place went to one of the Turkish propositions. It was quite memorable with its fluorescence colors and effects. However, because of its simplicity and content, with one-third of all of the votes (which is not small percentage if you have in mind that there was seven more other propositions), one logo design from Private school Futura has taken the first place and became the official logo of the SWOT VET eTwinning project.

Congratulations to the winner, as well as to other participants on their great designs. It is always nice to see creativity in action and we are looking forward to find out what other ideas will come out of these young, inspired smart-heads until the end of the project.
